Annual Anti-racism Competition for Schools

Race Equality First’s Schools gainst Racism Calendar and Poster Competition has been running for over 20 years. During this time thousands of children in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan have enjoyed painting and drawing pictures on equality themes and learning about anti-racism, culture and diversity.

Each year Race Equality First sends out invitations to all schools in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan and we always look forward to receiving pictures and artwork on the theme of Equality.  The competition is supported by Julian Hodge Bank, Cardiff City Council and the Vale of Glamorgan Council. Look out for our annual Schools against Racism Calendar and Poster Competition when it is launched again in September.

Since this competition started 285 children have had the pleasure of seeing their paintings appear on the calendar and posters and many more people have taken delight from having the calendars and posters to look at and display.
